The explosion
back then, vivid images forever
stilled on his retina
bodies scattered in the scrapes
pieces of sky tumbling
the fogged flash of light
eyes flooded by the wail of the moment
darkness awaiting
to capture absolution
knife in his raised hand
that came down fiercely
violating the flesh of man
fogged darkness flooding
in and out of his psyche
once twice thrice
thesis antithesis synthesis
now a tear flows down slowly
repeating the end concept
darkness, darkness, darkness
